I woke up to this gorgeous little tune sitting in my inbox this morning called ‘Impasse’, which is the debut single from a young Australian newcomer who goes by the name Laurel Laxxes.
He’s given us a nice little taste of his sound through neat arrangements of dreamy synths, soft electronic beats and airy saxophones, then pulled them all together with the beautiful vocal harmonies of a Byron Bay songstress known as Holly Tapp.
I for one will be keeping a close eye on Laurel Laxxes and I reckon you all should do the same – can’t wait to hear what else he has up his sleeve!
